What is Laparoscopic Adhesiolysis?

Laparoscopic adhesiolysis is a technique which is commonly used for the treatment of acute bowel obstructions. This procedure was earlier used by gynecologists for treating infertility and chronic pelvic pain. But today, it has become the treatment of choice for bowel obstructions as it has many benefits over invasive surgery. One of the biggest benefits of this procedure is that very less recovery time is required as the patient has to experience relatively less postoperative pain. The incidence of ventral hernia is drastically reduced and there are also fewer post operative complications. The return to normal bowel function is faster when compared to a surgery and the severity of intra abdominal adhesions after laparoscopic adhesiolysis is much less. People with complete or chronic bowel obstructions are usually advised to undergo this procedure.

What is Hysteroscopic Myomectomy?

Hysteroscopic myomectomy is a procedure that is employed for the removal of uterine fibroids. In this procedure, a hysteroscope is inserted into the uterus via the vagina and cervix. This instrument is quite versatile as it is very thin and hence no dilation is required to enter the cervix and into the uterus. A big advantage of this treatment procedure is that there is no need for any surgeries or abdominal incisions which drastically reduces recovery time for the patient. While a hysteroscope is used by the gynecologist to view the fibroid, the resectoscope is used to cut off the fibroid. The latter is basically a hysteroscope which is fitted at one end with a wire loop and makes use of high frequency electrical current to remove the fibroids.

Sometimes, the Image Goes Back and Forward. Why? Which Is The Best Way To Set Up? 


If the photo you take goes backward and forward it’s probably because of camera shake. The pictures you take will most likely be blurred. You can avoid this by holding the camera with a steady hand. Use both hands if necessary when taking photos. Try not to hold the camera too high or too far. Extending your arms can cause your arms to shake. If this doesn’t work, place the camera on a firm spot before you take photos. Get a tripod to hold your camera so that it doesn’t shake. Make sure that it is collapsible so that you can carry it around easily.

Usually, There Is Interference With The Image. Why? 


Your digital camera might malfunction leading to interference with the image. You might notice distortion in the same place on every photo. This might be because of a problem with your lens. Check it for damage because of dust or fungus. Try to clean it with a soft cloth. If you don’t succeed, don’t attempt to open the camera. Get this done by an authorized service person instead. Interference in the image might also be caused by a weak battery. Always carry backups with you if you need to take many shots. Monitor your camera carefully so that you know how long its battery usually lasts.
